Our Group Business Development Manager, Helen, has a busy few months ahead. She’ll be representing the National Conference Centre (NCC) at some of the region’s biggest business and events industry gatherings – building relationships, showcasing our award-winning venue, and keeping on top of the latest trends in conferences, meetings and hospitality.

Touchwood Shopping Centre, Solihull – 23rd September
A different kind of day for us – Helen will be meeting the public and local businesses at Touchwood Shopping Centre. It’s a great chance to raise awareness of everything the NCC offers here in the Midlands, from corporate events and private celebrations to weddings. Connecting directly with the community and spreading the word about our versatile venue.
MIA Connect Dinner – 24th September
The Meetings Industry Association’s MIA Connect Dinner brings together leaders from across the events sector. Helen will be there to discuss how the NCC supports conferences, business meetings and exhibitions, while also hearing first-hand what organisers want from venues right now.
Greater Birmingham Business Expo – 1st October
Part of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, the Greater Birmingham Business Expo is a free-to-attend exhibition and networking event and one of the Midlands’ biggest business showcases. Helen will be on hand to highlight the NCC’s unique event spaces, networking venues and in-house catering, and to connect with organisations planning their 2025 events.
CHS Birmingham – 27th October
CHS Birmingham is a must-attend for event professionals, agencies and corporate buyers. Helen will be there to talk about how the NCC delivers seamless, well-managed events of all sizes – whether it’s a large-scale exhibition, intimate meetings or multi-day workshops.
Famtastic Awards Speed Dating, Blackpool – 31st October
Ahead of the annual Famtastic Awards, Helen will be taking part in the Famtastic Awards speed dating networking session. It’s the perfect opportunity to introduce new partners to the flexibility of the National Conference Centre – a venue just as at home hosting banqueting events as it is creating unforgettable weddings.
By attending these events, Helen helps keep the National Conference Centre front of mind for businesses and organisers across the UK.
