A Midlands Exhibition Venue with National Access

The NCC is a Birmingham exhibition venue located off the M42, just a five-minute drive from Birmingham Airport and International train station. For exhibitions requiring a central Midlands location with easy national access, the NCC delivers everything you need.

Many of our trade fair organisers return several times a year, trusting our team to understand their events and make every setup smooth and straightforward. 

The Britannia Suite

The Britannia Suite is our most popular room for large exhibitions and trade show events in Birmingham. Located on the ground floor just off the main entrance, it offers excellent accessibility for both exhibitors and visitors.

Natural daylight with full blackout capability means the room works for events that need controlled lighting. 

The Britannia Suite regularly hosts healthcare exhibitions, medical device showcases and clinical conference expos. Our events team can handle delegate registration, exhibitor access management and multi-day catering without the need for external logistics suppliers.

The Premier Suite

Discover the Premier Suite, a spacious, column-free ground-floor venue offering 3,950sqft of exhibition space. It is a great option for smaller and medium-sized trade shows and exhibitions. This room accommodates up to 550 visitors and has the same drive-in loading access as the Britannia Suite. It is a practical, well-connected room that works well for specialist fairs, niche exhibitions and industry showcases that do not need a larger hall.

Need More Exhibition Space?

If your fair is getting bigger, we have space to grow with you.

The Premier Suite sits alongside the Britannia Suite and gives you an extra exhibition and tradeshow space on the same floor. Organisers use the two rooms together in different ways:

  • Stalls spanning both rooms for larger exhibitors
  • A dedicated catering area in the Premier Suite to keep the main exhibition floor clear
  • A VIP or preview area before the main fair opens to visitors
  • A seminar or talk space running at the same time as the main exhibition

We offer flexible catering options to suit your tradeshow or exhibition. Guests can enjoy coffee and light bites at the on-site café within the National Motorcycle Museum, while additional cash catering can be arranged in a nearby breakout space, keeping visitors refreshed, engaged, and on-site throughout your event.

For multi-day exhibitions and trade shows, the NCC has two sister hotels within a short drive.

Manor Hotel Solihull is five minutes away in the village of Meriden and Windmill Village Hotel, Golf and Spa is 15 minutes away. These are ideal options for exhibitors and organisers who want to stay nearby for a multi-day fair.

FAQs

What is the largest exhibition space at the NCC?

The Britannia Suite is the largest single exhibition space at the NCC, with a maximum capacity of 1,800. Located on the ground-floor, it can be combined with the Premier Suite for even larger events.

Is there loading access for exhibitors?

Yes. The Britannia Suite and Premier Suite both have drive-in loading access directly from the car park as they are ground-floor-rooms. Exhibitors can bring vehicles right up to the room to build and set up their stands without going up or down stairs or long internal routes. 

Is there free parking for trade fair visitors?

Yes. Over 1,000 free parking spaces are available on site for delegates and fair visitors. Visitors pay nothing to park. This is one of the most important factors for trade fair attendance and it is one of the NCC’s biggest advantages over city centre venues. There are also EV charging points and disabled parking spaces close to the entrance.

Can the NCC host a recurring trade fair throughout the year?

Yes. Many of our trade fair organisers book multiple dates per year at the NCC. Recurring bookings are actively encouraged and the events team works with returning organisers to improve layouts and grow visitor numbers over time.

Is catering available for exhibition visitors?

Yes. The NCC has an on-site café at the National Motorcycle Museum, and an in-house catering team. For larger exhibitions, cash catering can be set up within the exhibition space or in an adjacent room, keeping visitors on site rather than leaving to find food elsewhere.

Can I run a seminar or talk programme alongside my exhibition?

Yes. The Premier Suite or adjacent rooms can be used as a seminar space running at the same time as the main exhibition floor in the Britannia Suite. Our events team can help you plan the layout and programme to make both work well together.
