Why Choose the Midlands for Your Next Conference?
As conference venues in the Midlands go, the NCC occupies a position that few venues can match. 49,000 sqft of flexible event space. Two suites capable of holding over 1,000 delegates each. A central location on the M42 that puts the venue within two hours’ drive of most of the UK population. Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International train station are both just a 5 minute drive or taxi ride away.
For organisations running national conferences, getting delegates to travel across the UK can be costly and inconvenient, especially when using a London venue. The NCC offers a central alternative, without the added expense of city centre surcharges.

The Imperial Suite
The Imperial Suite is our largest and most impressive conference space, ideal for large-scale events. With excellent production capabilities and flexible layouts, the Imperial Suite seats 1,300 in theatre style and features Art Deco styling, crystal chandeliers and a grand staircase. For professional associations, trade bodies and senior leadership conferences, the adjoining Trafalgar and Waterloo suites provide breakout space for workshops and networking alongside the main conference.

The Britannia Suite
The Britannia Suite is a versatile conference space, ideal for mid to large-scale events, seating 1,400 in theatre style. It is a 2,320 m² column-free space on the ground floor with natural daylight and full blackout facilities.
The Britannia suite is the right choice for multi-day conferences, healthcare events with exhibition space for sponsors and national corporate conferences for large organisations. The room handles exhibition floors alongside conference sessions, which makes it popular with healthcare, pharmaceutical and industry bodies that need sponsor stands as part of the event programme.
Drive-in loading access from the car park makes it straightforward for exhibitors and production teams to get in and set up without complications.

The Compton Suite
The Compton Suite is a flexible conference space, ideal for meetings, workshops and breakout sessions. With adaptable layouts and modern facilities, it provides a professional and comfortable environment for productive events. It holds up to 400 in theatre style and 250 in classroom configuration.
It sits directly next to the Britannia Suite, which makes it a natural choice for conferences that need a second room running at the same time as the main stage. The events team can help you plan how the two rooms work together on the day.
